Today we continue with the exercise 3.1:-
Q. no 3)
a) Find the product of 2891 x 15 x 39
Here we apply Property no. 2 :-
The product of three numbers does not change when the grouping of the number is changed.
ie, ( 2891 x 15 ) x 39 = 2891 x ( 15 x 39)
we start by multiplying 2891 x 15 and the product will be multiplied by 39.

now we multiply it by 39

6 x 5 = 30
3 is carried over
Step 2:-
6 x 6 = 36

but 21 = 3 + 18
Therefore 6 x 3 = 18
The missing digit is 3
Step 4:-
We put 3 in the missing gap and continue with the multiplication to get the rest of the numbers.
The final result will be:
